- There is a God and all that He says is deeply true
- There is an enemy of God who twists truth to destroy what God created
- Mankind is cursed because of sin, but there will come one who will bring judgment on the serpent
- Salvation and victory over sin does not come through human effort or cunning, but through humble submission to the word of God and reception of the provision He provides.
