What kind of services do you have?

Our services are worshipful and contemporary in nature with a mixture of music styles.  Our sermons are Bible based, holiness centered, with application to everyday life.  Our atmosphere is friendly and interactive.

 

What is appropriate to wear to church?

Come as you are!  The dress ranges from casual to professional – it’s your call!  We just want you to join us and be comfortable, whatever your preference may be!

 

How big is our church?

Our total average Worship attendance is approximately 550.  That is distributed /files/Church Pics/Old and New Bldg.JPGover 2 Sunday Morning Worship services.

Do you have childcare?

The answer is an enthusiastic YES!  We love children at BFCN!  Please be assured that your child will receive tender loving care while you family is worshiping with us.  Also, child care teachers and volunteers must pass a background check and attend safety classes prior to being a part of this very important ministry.

 

The nursery provides loving care and introduces even the tiniest children to God’s love during our Sunday Worship services for children birth through 2 years of age.  Three year olds through kindergarten have their own program as well and it is age-appropriate and fun!  We also offer Children’s Church for children in Grades 1 & 2 during both of our Worship Services.

 

Is there something for my teenager?

Yes!  Junior High and Senior High students are very important to the BFCN family.    Everything the youth do is centered around knowing Jesus Christ, Growing in Him and Going to show His love to the world; all while having a lot of fun!  Both the Junior High and Senior High meetings are held on Sunday evenings at the BFCN campus.

 

Is the Bible Fellowship Church of Newark a part of any Denomination?

Yes, the Bible Fellowship Church of Newark, DE is affiliated with the Bible Fellowship Church Denomination.  The BFC Denomination is strongly evangelical in purpose and effort.  It was founded in 1858 and today consists of 63 churches in 7 states (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, New York, Virginia, and New Mexico).  Its doctrinal emphasis include:

·         Salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ

·         Transformed life through new birth by the Holy Spirit

·         The authority and trustworthiness of the Bible as the Word of God
