Senior High Youth Ministry (PAC)

The BFCN youth ministry seeks to develop in students a passion for Jesus Christ so that they will share Jesus with others, serve the Church with their gifts, connect with other followers of Christ, and grow in what they believe and how they live.

The PAC (Patterned After Christ) ministry meets on most Sunday evenings in the teen center from September through May (6:30 PM – 8:00 PM); during June – August, PAC meets on most Sunday nights. During our times together we worship through song, have a time of games/skits, and teaching from the Bible.

If you live in the Newark/Bear, DE or surrounding areas and are looking for a place for your teenager to learn more about God then we would welcome you to join us. Our student and adult leaders look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our church home.

Philosophy of Youth Ministry
The primary function of the youth ministries of BFCN is not to grow spiritual mature teens. It is to partner alongside parents and help you disciple your children towards spiritual maturity. The end goal is to have spiritually mature teens that grow into spiritually mature young adults, and we each have unique roles to play in that process.

As parents, your primary role at this stage is to model the spiritual maturity you want to see in your children. Our role is to support you as you seek to parent well, to provide secondary models of spiritual maturity, and to train, equip, and encourage your teens to pursue a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
